What is Medical Tourism?
Medical tourism (also called medical travel, health tourism or global healthcare) is the rapidly-growing practice of travelling across international borders to obtain health care. Services typically sought by travelers include elective procedures as well as complex specialized surgeries such as joint replacement (knee/hip), cardiac surgery, dental surgery, and cosmetic surgeries. However, virtually every type of health care, including psychiatry, alternative treatments, and post treatment care are available.

What kind of food will I be served while overseas?
Most hotels and international hospitals in India will offer a wide choice of menu options including Continental / Indian / Vegetarian food for health considerations. However  in some cases, hospitals do make special arrangements.Hotels and service apartments can serve or arrange food as per choice.

What are the facilities that the hospital provides apart from treatment?
Following facilities are generally available:

• Welcome Kit inclusive of Bio-profiles of Doctors, Food menu, Do’s and Don’ts, Patient Education Leaflets.
• Local Sim-card in some hospitals.
• Laundry services.
• Utility Kit consisting of soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, moisturizer
• Internet Connection (wifi) for your laptop.
• Money-exchange assistance and a copy of daily newspaper.
• Airport pick-up and drop by air-conditioned vehicle.
